HOYC to Present at Aspen Convening

April 4, 2014 by Kim Oliver

The Aspen Institute has invited HOYC’s Project Director, Kim Oliver, to co-lead a session on “Building On-Ramps to Adult Career Pathways” at its Convening in Los Angeles on April 23, 2014.

Kim will share how HOYC is building sector-based career pathway systems for Opportunity Youth by connecting youth development programs and services to career systems traditionally targeted to adults. She, along with Terry Grobe of Jobs for the Future, will offer emerging lessons and provide opportunities for communities across the country to accelerate their specific pathway development or expansion work.

Kim will be joined by HOYC members Alex Johnson of Capital Workforce Partners and Hector Rivera of Our Piece of the Pie at the LA Aspen Convening.
