Northeast Opportunity Youth Conference November 22, 2019

This conference will bring together organizations from the regions of: Connecticut, Philadelphia, NYC, Boston & Maine. Participating organizations include: The Aspen Institute – Opportunity Youth Forum, National Youth Employment Coalition, Jobs for the Future and other communities/partners. This roundtable provides an opportunity to share, review and increase public awareness of Opportunity Youth/Youth Employment best practices.

North Hartford Promise Zone Receives $1.1 million to aid youth

Our Piece of the Pie receives $1.1 million U.S Department of Labor grant to help young adults in the North Hartford Promise Zone to bolster job readiness and career placement efforts. This grant is focused on youth aged 18-24 who have recently been released from prison and live in the Promise Zone. For the full story, see here.
