Job Readiness Gap

There is a serious disconnect between the qualifications needed for employment in Greater Hartford and youth who are out of school and out of work. There is also a great difference in the number of youth either job ready or almost job ready in Hartford as compared to the rest of CT.

oosandoownew

Only 1 in 3 youth in Hartford is ready for work in comparison to 1 in 2 youth statewide in Connecticut.
